The Ben Johnson Educational Center is a 501 (c) 3 and operates with a very small staff. To accomplish all that we do, we depend upon our Volunteers and Donors. There are a multitude of ways to get involved, and you can read about many of the ways below:
Become a Partner
Do you own a business in Natchitoches that could employ graduates of our LWD Program for on the job training. On-the-job training is when the BDJ Center pays the wages for our program graduates for up to three months while they gain valuable job experience with one of our Employer Partners. It is important for our participants to have this opportunity to use knowledge they have gained during the program and get job experience. If you would like to give one of our participants an opportunity and possibly gain a future employee, Let us know!

The work of “Transforming Lives and Building Community” is made possible with your support. The Ben D. Johnson Educational Center relies on contributions to provide excellent training and facilities for our students and the community. Everything we do is made possible by support like yours.
Refer a Student
As Ben D. Johnson said, “An idle mind is a playground for poor decisions and costly mistakes.” If you have a young adult in your life — whether you are a relative, educator, or mentor— The Ben D. Johnson Educational Center offers the youth a safe place to learn, be productive, and develop life skills.
Hire a Graduate
Looking for another way to support our program? We graduate dozens of earnest, dedicated, and reliable participants monthly that are eager to get into the workforce. The Ben D. Johnson Educational Center offers chances for employers to hire trained individuals.
